Rebekah completed a BA in Textile Design at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia, majoring in hand woven and jacquard design textiles. After graduating, she completed a three-month Artist in Residency placement with The Australian Tapestry Workshop in South Melbourne. She was runner up in the 2014 Design Institute of Australia Graduate of the Year Awards in the Fashion and Textiles category. Rebekah has exhibited work locally and internationally, showcasing designs as a part of the 2013 and 2015 L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival and the 2015 Cambrian Mountains Wool International Design Challenge run by The Prince’s Trust & King Charles. She was a finalist in the 2016 & 2025 Cockpit Arts London Clothworkers’ Foundation Award and the 2016 10th International Shibori Symposium: Wearable Art of Shibori, in Oaxaca, Mexico. She took part in an artist residency placement at the Icelandic Textile Centre in Blonduos, Iceland, during November 2017. She is currently based in Southern California.
